Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding summer opportunity as a certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) supporting a dynamic Autism Program in a well-established Delaware school setting. This summer contract is an ideal match for RBTs who thrive in school-based environments and are eager to make a meaningful impact with young learners. You'll work closely with elementary-aged students at two welcoming locations, providing direct behavioral interventions and collaborating with a supportive team. Your expertise helps create an engaging and nurturing atmosphere during both Professional Development and the summer session.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active RBT certification (must be current at time of application) Demonstrated school-based experience preferred, especially in pediatric or elementary settings Ability to commit to the full summer program schedule and all PD/in-service dates Reliable transportation to assigned sites Strong communication and collaboration skills
Your Role:
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans in classroom settings Support students with autism spectrum disorder to promote social, emotional, and academic growth Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school personnel to ensure consistent support Collect and document behavioral data for ongoing assessment and progress monitoring Participate in PD days, taking part in relevant training and team meetings Maintain a positive and compassionate approach, fostering student confidence
