Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students with severe disabilities and autism in a school setting located in Camden Wyoming, DE. This contract position involves working with individuals aged 2 to 22, focusing on improving behavioral outcomes through assessment, planning, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) to identify behavioral challenges Develop and implement Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) tailored to individual student needs Collaborate with educational teams to establish behavior goals incorporated in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Participate in crisis intervention and de-escalation efforts as part of the school's crisis team Support accurate and ongoing data collection related to student behavior Provide guidance and behavioral support to both school staff and students to enhance learning environments
Qualifications:
Active Delaware BCBA licensure or certification is required Experience working in school environments with students who have severe disabilities and autism Strong skills in crisis management and behavioral intervention strategies Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
