Job Description
Category Schools - Behavior Specialist Job Type Contract A full-time, on-site position is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students with severe disabilities and autism in a school setting located in Camden Wyoming, DE. This role involves working Monday through Friday during the 2026-2027 school year for 37.5 hours per week. The position focuses on providing direct behavioral support to students ages 2 to 22, contributing to their educational and developmental progress.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) to identify behavioral needs Develop and implement Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) tailored to individual student goals Collaborate with educational teams to establish behavior goals aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Participate in crisis intervention through de-escalation techniques as a member of the crisis team Support data collection and analysis to monitor student progress Provide ongoing behavioral guidance to school staff and students to foster positive outcomesQualifications:
Active Delaware BCBA licensure/certification is required Proven experience working as a school-based BCBA, preferably with students with severe disabilities and autism Demonstrated skills in conducting FBAs and developing BSPs Experience in crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with school personnelLocation:
