Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract A school-based Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position is available in Milford, DE, focusing on supporting students with severe disabilities and autism ranging from ages 2 to 22. This contract role involves providing specialized behavioral services in an educational setting.
Key responsibilities include:
Participating in crisis intervention and de-escalation efforts as part of the crisis team Conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) to identify factors influencing student behavior Developing and implementing Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) tailored to individual student needs Collaborating with educational teams to establish behavior goals integrated into Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Supporting accurate and ongoing data collection related to student behavior and intervention outcomes Offering behavioral consultation and support to both school staff and students to promote a positive learning environment Preferred qualifications: Active Delaware BCBA licensure or certification is required Experience working with students with severe disabilities and autism within a school setting Strong skills in behavior assessment, intervention planning, and data analysis Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and school personnel Competence in crisis management and de-escalation techniques
