Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for the 2026-2027 school year, including summer programming. This school-based opportunity is fully onsite at an elementary campus near Newark, DE, offering the chance to make a tangible impact while collaborating closely with educators and multidisciplinary teams.
What We're Looking For:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification at the time of application Previous experience as an RBT in a school setting (elementary or pediatric focus strongly preferred) Proven ability to work onsite, full-time, throughout the academic and summer programs Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and students Dependable transportation for consistent attendance Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Your Core Responsibilities:
Deliver direct behavior intervention and support to elementary-aged students according to developed treatment and intervention plans Collect, monitor, and document data related to student behaviors and learning progress Work closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), general and special education staff, and parents to implement effective strategies Participate in professional development and planning days as scheduled Ensure compliance with ethical standards and school policies Foster meaningful, supportive relationships with students, encouraging positive behaviors and engagement
