In this vital role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions grounded in applied behavior analysis (ABA) to promote positive behaviors and skill development. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with clients, support their growth, and contribute to their success in everyday activities. Your dedication will help foster independence, enhance communication skills, and improve overall quality of life for those you serve. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities Collect and record data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, eating, and other self-care tasks Use positive reinforcement strategies to encourage desired behaviors and manage challenging behaviors effectively Collaborate with team members to develop, review, and update care plans tailored to each client's needs Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations by safeguarding client confidentiality and medical records Communicate regularly with supervisors about client progress, session outcomes, and any concerns or observations Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavior management strategies is essential Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation practices, and medical records management is advantageous Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting to track client progress accurately Experience assisting with ADLs and implementing teaching strategies within a special education or behavioral health setting is a plus Patience, empathy, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others are key qualities for success in this role Join us in empowering individuals to reach their full potential through compassionate care and innovative behavioral support.
