Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, through evidence-based behavioral therapy. In this energetic and rewarding position, you will implement personalized treatment plans, assist with daily living skills, and help foster meaningful progress for the clients you serve. Your dedication will contribute to creating a positive, nurturing environment that promotes growth, independence, and improved quality of life. Duties Implement behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to support clients' developmental goals. Collect and record data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, and hygiene routines, promoting independence. Support clients in developing communication skills through teaching and reinforcement strategies tailored to individual needs. Collaborate with supervisors, caregivers, and educational teams to ensure consistency across care plans and educational settings. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including behavior logs, care plans, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Foster a positive therapeutic environment by applying effective behavioral management techniques and promoting client engagement. Qualifications Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and behavior management strategies. Strong ability to work compassionately with children and individuals with autism or other developmental challenges. Excellent data collection skills to track client progress accurately. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards. Ability to assist with ADLs and implement teaching strategies in educational or home settings. Pay:
$17.00 - $24.00 per hour
