Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this vital role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Your energetic and compassionate approach will help foster growth, independence, and improved quality of life for those you serve. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to promote positive behaviors and skill development. Collect, record, and analyze data on client progress to inform ongoing treatment strategies. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting, to support independence. Support clients during therapy sessions by teaching communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors aligned with their care plans. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, session logs, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate closely with BCBAs and other team members to ensure consistent implementation of treatment plans. Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging environment that encourages client participation and growth in behavioral health settings. Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, or in special education is highly preferred. Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, including ABA methods and behavior management strategies. Strong data collection skills to track client progress accurately and efficiently. Familiarity with medical terminology, healthcare documentation standards, and maintaining confidential medical records. Excellent teaching abilities combined with patience and empathy to support diverse client needs. Ability to follow detailed care plans while adapting approaches based on individual responses.
