Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. In this energetic and rewarding position, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your passion for teaching, patience, and commitment to improving quality of life will shine as you help clients develop essential skills and foster positive behavior change. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors Collect accurate data on client progress during therapy sessions to inform ongoing treatment adjustments Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting, to enhance independence Support teaching strategies that improve communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors in children with autism Maintain detailed and compliant medical documentation and records in accordance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with team members to develop, review, and update personalized care plans tailored to each client's needs Foster a positive, engaging environment that encourages learning, growth, and emotional well-being for all clients Requirements Previous experience or training in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or working with children with developmental disabilities Excellent communication skills to effectively teach and support clients while collaborating with families and team members Ability to work flexibly in various settings, including homes, community, or schools, providing patient-centered care with compassion and professionalism Must be detail-oriented with strong data collection skills to accurately track client progress over time Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Commitment to ethical standards in behavioral health practices and adherence to all safety protocols Medicaid Provider ID (not required but preferred)
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
