Job Description

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in providing high-quality behavioral health services. The RBT will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement individualized treatment plans. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives through evidence-based interventions and support. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA), experience working with children, and a commitment to patient care and confidentiality. Duties Implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) using ABA techniques Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress accurately and consistently Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, dressing, and feeding Support clients in developing communication, social, and life skills through teaching strategies Monitor client safety during sessions and manage behavior using positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques Maintain detailed medical documentation, care plans, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with team members, families, and caregivers to ensure consistent implementation of treatment plans Attend training sessions, supervision meetings, and continuing education to stay current on best practices in behavioral health and special education Skills Experience with behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavior management strategies Prior work with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and patient care protocols Ability to collect accurate data for progress tracking and report writing Strong teaching skills tailored to individual learning styles Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards in healthcare settings Excellent communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting individuals with special needs This position is ideal for motivated individuals committed to advancing their careers in behavioral health or special education while making a positive impact on the lives of those they serve.
