Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where your passion for helping others and expertise in behavioral health will make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. As an RBT, you will implement individualized behavior intervention plans, support skill development, and promote positive behavior change through evidence-based practices. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster growth, independence, and improved quality of life. Duties Implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and responses using precise data collection methods aligned with applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and other self-care tasks to promote independence Use behavior management techniques to reinforce positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors in a safe, supportive manner Support teaching sessions by utilizing evidence-based strategies tailored to each client's needs, ensuring consistency across sessions Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality and privacy Collaborate with team members to develop, review, and update individualized care plans that reflect ongoing progress and changing needs Qualifications Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavior management strategies Ability to assist with ADLs and support patient care in a compassionate manner Strong data collection skills for tracking client progress accurately Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards such as HIPAA compliance Excellent teaching skills with patience and adaptability to meet diverse client needs Join us in creating a positive impact through compassionate care and innovative behavioral strategies.
