Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Applied Behavior Analyst Therapist, where your passion for helping children and individuals with developmental disabilities will make a meaningful difference. In this role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions rooted in applied behavior analysis (ABA) to support clients with autism and other developmental challenges. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans designed by licensed behavior analysts, ensuring consistency and effectiveness in therapy sessions Collect, record, and analyze data on client progress to inform ongoing treatment adjustments and ensure fidelity to treatment protocols Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and other self-care skills to promote independence Use behavioral therapy techniques to manage behaviors and teach new skills across various settings, including home and community environments Maintain accurate medical documentation, progress notes, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and agency policies Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and interdisciplinary teams to support comprehensive care plans Support the implementation of special education strategies within behavioral health frameworks to enhance learning outcomes Experience Previous experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred; experience with autism spectrum disorder is highly valued Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques essential for effective intervention delivery Familiarity with data collection methods and tools used to track behavioral progress and inform treatment decisions Experience assisting with medical documentation, understanding medical terminology, and maintaining confidential medical records is advantageous Strong communication skills for working collaboratively with families, team members, and clients in a respectful and empathetic manner Ability to follow detailed care plans and adhere to ethical standards related to patient care and behavioral health practices Embark on a rewarding career where your skills in behavioral therapy can transform lives.
