Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analyst Therapist to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement evidence-based behavioral therapy strategies. Your energetic approach will help foster meaningful progress in clients' communication, social skills, and daily living activities. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact while gaining valuable experience in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavioral health. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Use applied behavior analysis techniques to promote skill development in areas such as communication, social interaction, and self-care. Collect and record data meticulously on client behaviors, progress, and responses during therapy sessions to inform ongoing treatment plans. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, toileting, feeding, and other self-care routines. Support clients in managing behaviors through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management strategies. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including care plans, progress notes, and behavioral records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with team members to develop and adjust care plans tailored to each individual's needs. Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Knowledge of behavioral therapy principles and applied behavior analysis techniques is highly desirable. Familiarity with special education environments or teaching experience is a plus. Ability to handle sensitive medical terminology and maintain confidentiality of medical records in accordance with HIPAA standards. Strong interpersonal skills for working patiently and effectively with clients, families, and team members. Experience in data collection and documentation related to behavioral health or medical records is advantageous. Join us in creating a supportive environment where every individual can thrive! Pay:
$28.00 - $30.00 per hour
