Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic and rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 self-contained programs as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This position is based on-site near Orange Park, FL, and spans several schools. You'll play a key role helping teachers and school teams implement effective behavioral strategies and supports. Your expertise will directly benefit students and educators, making a meaningful impact across 5-7 assigned school sites.
Desired Qualifications:
Active and current BCBA licensure required Experience in school settings strongly preferred Ability to support diverse student populations, ages K-12 Familiarity with functional behavior assessments (FBAs), data collection, modeling, and teacher consultation Strong communication and organizational skills Fingerprinting per Florida school regulations, including potential verification and updating of prints via the
AHCA Clearinghouse Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with teachers and school staff to design, implement, and monitor behavioral interventions Observe classrooms to identify needs and model evidence-based behavioral strategies Assist with data collection, progress monitoring, and functional behavior assessments Offer guidance in developing behavior intervention plans and updating strategies as needed Provide consultation—not direct services—for students in self-contained classrooms
Additional Details:
Full-time schedule: 35 hours weekly (7 hours per day) Itinerant role across 5-7 schools (to be determined) Contract coverage through the end of May 2026 This is an excellent opportunity to share your BCBA expertise and positively influence teachers and students across multiple schools.
