Registered Behavior Technician Bright Spectrum coaching LLC Palm Harbor, FL Job Details Part-time | Full-time $20 - $21 an hour 12 hours ago Qualifications RBT Certification Working with individuals with developmental disabilities HIPAA Working with children Attention to detail Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in providing high-quality behavioral health services. The RBT will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement individualized behavior intervention plans. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives through applied behavior analysis (ABA) and patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy, experience working with children, and a commitment to ethical and HIPAA-compliant practices. Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) using evidence-based techniques such as ABA and behavior management strategies Collect and record data accurately on client progress, behaviors, and treatment outcomes to inform ongoing care plans Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, and other self-care tasks Support clients during therapy sessions by teaching new skills and promoting positive behaviors Maintain detailed and compliant medical documentation, including progress notes, treatment records, and care plans in accordance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with team members, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency in behavioral interventions and support strategies Uphold confidentiality and adhere to all privacy standards related to medical records and client information Participate in ongoing training related to behavioral health, special education, medical terminology, and behavior management techniques Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management, and special education practices is highly desirable Experience assisting with ADLs and implementing patient care strategies is a plus Familiarity with medical documentation, medical terminology, and maintaining accurate medical records is beneficial Previous work in behavioral health or educational settings involving individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities will be advantageous Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification is required or preferred This position provides a rewarding opportunity for individuals passionate about helping others through behavioral therapy.
