Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team committed to transforming lives through behavioral health and developmental support. As an RBT, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement individualized behavior intervention plans. Your energetic approach will help foster positive growth, skill development, and independence in those you serve. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact while gaining valuable experience in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and special education. Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), ensuring consistency and fidelity in delivery. Use behavioral therapy techniques to support children and individuals with autism and developmental disabilities in developing communication, social, and daily living skills. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and other self-care routines. Collect accurate data on client behaviors and progress to inform ongoing treatment plans and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality. Support teaching strategies that promote positive behavior management and adaptive skills across various settings. Maintain detailed medical documentation, care plans, and progress notes in accordance with medical records standards. Collaborate with team members, families, and caregivers to ensure consistent implementation of interventions and promote client success. Qualifications Actively certified in Florida through the BACB, with 1+ years experience. Strong understanding of special education principles, behavior management techniques, and patient care practices. Excellent communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, team members, and other stakeholders. Ability to follow detailed instructions and accurately collect data during therapy sessions. Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA compliance, and medical documentation standards is advantageous. Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support individuals with autism and other developmental challenges. Willingness to work in all settings including in center, home, school, and community settings. Must be able to work flexible hours that accommodate client needs while maintaining a positive, energetic approach. Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
