Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to provide personal support assistance to a visually impaired individual in their daily activities. The ideal candidate should possess empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our client.(32 hours weekly)
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily living activities such as grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Assist with mobility
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding as necessary.
  • Accompany the client on outings.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic caregiving tasks and techniques.
  • Empathy and understanding of the challenges faced by visually impaired individuals.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully.
  • Patience, reliability, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in caregiving is a plus How to
