Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by supporting PreK programs as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through the upcoming academic year. This contract opportunity offers a full-time schedule, working on-site only, with the chance to collaborate across multiple schools in the vibrant Jacksonville area. As an itinerant BCBA, you'll partner closely with self-contained programs, providing vital guidance and expertise—not by delivering direct services, but by supporting and coaching teachers. Your insights will shape effective classroom management, optimize data collection, and foster positive behavioral outcomes for young learners.
What We're Looking For:
Active BCBA license required Experience or interest in working with PreK populations highly preferred Strong background in developing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), modeling strategies, and supporting classroom staff with behavioral interventions Ability to work across 5-7 school campuses (with specific locations to be determined) Exceptional communication and organizational skills Must be able to complete Florida fingerprinting requirements; candidates with fingerprints in the AHCA Clearinghouse should verify their status per current guidelines
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a behavioral consultant to teachers and staff within PreK self-contained programs Observe classrooms, offer strategic recommendations, and provide ongoing support for behavioral interventions Assist in collecting and analyzing data to inform programming decisions Develop and model evidence-based strategies, collaborating with education teams to maximize student success Maintain required documentation and adhere to credentialing timelines The contract runs from August 10, 2026 through May 28, 2027, providing a consistent, rewarding role as you help elevate learning environments across several schools.
