Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this vital role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Your enthusiasm, patience, and dedication will help foster positive growth, skill development, and independence for those you serve. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in behavioral health, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and special education while contributing to a compassionate and supportive environment. Responsibilities Deliver individualized behavioral interventions based on detailed treatment plans developed by BCBAs, focusing on improving communication, social skills, and daily living activities. Collect accurate data during sessions to monitor progress and inform ongoing treatment adjustments. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, eating, and toileting, promoting independence. Implement behavior management strategies to reduce challenging behaviors and reinforce positive behaviors. Maintain detailed and confidential medical records, documenting client progress and session notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency across treatment plans and support a cohesive care approach. Support clients in educational settings by applying principles of special education and teaching strategies tailored to individual needs. Qualifications Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or working with children with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential. Ability to collect and analyze data accurately during sessions to track progress effectively. Excellent communication skills with the patience and compassion necessary for working with diverse populations. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of client information. High school diploma or equivalent; ongoing certification as an RBT through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) is encouraged but can be obtained during onboarding. Ability to work flexible hours including afternoons, evenings, or weekends as needed. Embark on a rewarding career path where your dedication transforms lives!
