As an RBT, you will work closely with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized behavior plans grounded in applied behavior analysis (ABA). This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adults by providing compassionate care, teaching essential skills, and promoting positive behavior change. You will play a vital part in fostering independence and improving quality of life through engaging, evidence-based interventions. Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) using ABA techniques. Collect and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and hygiene routines. Support clients during educational activities, teaching new skills aligned with individualized care plans. Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, documenting session details, progress notes, and behavioral observations in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with team members to develop and update personalized care plans tailored to each client's needs. Foster a positive, supportive environment that encourages client engagement and skill acquisition while managing challenging behaviors effectively. Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred. Knowledge of behavioral therapy principles and applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques is essential. Experience assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and implementing behavior management strategies. Ability to collect data systematically and utilize it to guide intervention strategies. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and confidentiality. Previous experience working in special education or behavioral health settings is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Qualifications Active RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree in psychology, Education, or related field preferred). Must possess or be willing to obtain a valid School Vendor Badge as required by local school districts. Minimum 6 months experience providing ABA therapy (preferred). Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to follow directions and accept feedback from supervisors. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sessions. Must pass background checks and meet any state/local requirements for working with children.
