In this rewarding role, you will implement individualized behavioral therapy plans, support skill development, and promote positive behavior management strategies. Duties Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), to support clients' developmental goals. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, and toileting, to promote independence. Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and responses to interventions accurately and consistently. Support the development and execution of individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs. Collaborate with supervising clinicians, teachers, and family members to ensure consistency in behavioral strategies. Maintain confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations and safeguarding medical records and documentation. Use effective behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions and reduce challenging behaviors. Requirements Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or working with children with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred. Strong understanding of special education principles and teaching strategies tailored for diverse learning needs. Ability to assist with ADLs and provide patient care in a compassionate manner. Excellent data collection skills to track progress accurately for medical documentation and care plans. Knowledge of medical terminology, behavioral health concepts, and HIPAA compliance standards. Effective communication skills for working collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
