  • Part-time, Full-time Overview Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and become a vital part of transforming lives through evidence-based behavioral interventions.
In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to promote meaningful progress in communication, social skills, and daily living activities. Your energetic approach and compassionate attitude will help foster positive change while supporting families and caregivers. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in behavioral therapy, teaching, and patient care in home and school settings. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to support clients' developmental goals. Collect and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Assist clients with activities of daily living such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and hygiene, promoting independence. Use effective behavior management techniques to reinforce positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to develop and update care plans tailored to each client's needs. Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations by ensuring confidentiality of medical records and client information. Communicate progress and observations clearly through detailed documentation in medical records and reports. Skills Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Preferred but not required Ability to assist with activities of daily living while fostering independence and confidence in clients. Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude. Proficient in data collection techniques to track behavioral progress accurately. Familiarity with ABA terminology, documentation standards, and healthcare privacy regulations such as HIPAA.
