In this role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions rooted in applied behavior analysis (ABA) to promote positive growth and skill development. This paid position offers an engaging environment where your expertise in behavioral therapy, teaching, and patient care will directly impact clients' progress toward independence and improved quality of life. Duties Deliver individualized behavioral therapy sessions based on established care plans for children and individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, and hygiene, to foster independence Implement behavior management strategies to reduce challenging behaviors and promote positive social interactions Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, review, and update personalized care plans aligned with client goals Maintain accurate medical documentation, records, and reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards Support clients during educational activities, including special education sessions and teaching exercises designed to enhance communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors Requirements Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or eligibility to obtain certification through a recognized program Experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities in behavioral therapy or related settings Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and data collection methods Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior intervention plans effectively Strong understanding of medical terminology, documentation practices, and HIPAA compliance standards Excellent communication skills to collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals Patience, compassion, and a proactive attitude toward supporting clients' growth and well-being Join us in creating a positive impact through specialized behavioral health services!
