  • Join our dynamic team as a Behavior Technician (MUST be willing to get ABAT certification or RBT certification) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities.
In this role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions, primarily using applied behavior analysis (ABA), to promote positive behaviors and skill development. You will work closely with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary team to foster growth, independence, and improved quality of life. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in behavioral health while providing compassionate care in a supportive environment. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and responses accurately to inform treatment adjustments Support teaching strategies that enhance communication, social skills, and functional life skills through engaging activities Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and handling medical records responsibly Collaborate with supervisors and team members to develop and update care plans tailored to each client's needs Provide patient-centered care that emphasizes positive reinforcement, behavioral management techniques, and emotional support Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), is highly desirable Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation practices, and medical records management is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients' families, educators, and healthcare professionals Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate data collection for progress tracking Compassionate attitude with a commitment to patient care and behavioral health principles Previous experience in special education or teaching roles can be beneficial but is not mandatory Join us in creating a positive impact through dedicated support, innovative strategies, and compassionate care.
