Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality behavioral therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. In this energetic and rewarding position, you will implement individualized behavior intervention plans, support clients in developing essential skills, and foster positive behavioral changes. Duties Implement behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and responses to interventions with precision and consistency Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, and feeding, to promote independence Use evidence-based behavioral strategies to manage challenging behaviors and reinforce positive behaviors Support clients during teaching sessions, ensuring engagement and understanding in various skill areas including communication, socialization, and self-care Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies Collaborate with team members to develop and update individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs Requirements Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or eligibility to obtain certification within a specified timeframe Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and special education principles Ability to collect detailed data accurately during therapy sessions and document progress effectively Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills for working with clients, families, and team members Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and confidentiality standards such as HIPAA Demonstrated ability to follow detailed care plans and implement behavioral health interventions effectively Join us in making a meaningful difference! Pay:
$25.58 - $32.63 per hour
