Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract A valued opportunity awaits for a skilled Registered Behavior Technician to provide impactful support for an adolescent client on a part-time basis near Athens, GA. In this contract role, you'll work closely with a single student, making a significant difference while receiving clinical supervision and on-site resources.
Qualifications:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Demonstrated experience managing severe behaviors/aggression with teens or adults, especially those with autism or behavioral disorders Ability to remain calm and follow behavior intervention plans during challenging situations Comfortable working one-on-one in a school environment Adept at collaborating as part of a team, taking direction from a supervising
BCBA Responsibilities:
Deliver 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to an adolescent Implement behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Collect accurate data, document progress, and report observations for team review Maintain safety protocols and utilize provided protective gear as needed during sessions Foster a positive, empathetic, and productive working relationship with the client Participate in clinical meetings and maintain communication with supervisory staff Working 15 to 20 hours per week, this position offers a supportive structure, including regular BCBA supervision and access to personal protective equipment when required.
