Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team committed to making a positive impact on individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. As an RBT, you will work closely with clients, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in behavioral therapy, teaching, and patient care to help clients achieve meaningful progress and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions based on individualized treatment plans aligned with applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles. Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and responses during therapy sessions accurately and consistently. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, eating, and toileting, fostering independence. Support clients in developing communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors through engaging teaching strategies. Maintain detailed and compliant medical documentation, care plans, and progress notes in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to modify intervention strategies as needed for optimal client outcomes. Foster a safe, positive environment that promotes trust and motivation for clients during therapy sessions. Skills Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA). Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder. Excellent communication skills to effectively teach and interact with clients of diverse backgrounds. Ability to accurately collect and analyze data related to behavior management and progress tracking. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards. Compassionate patient care approach with a focus on supporting clients' emotional well-being. Ability to follow detailed care plans while demonstrating flexibility to adapt interventions as needed for individual needs. Pay:
$28.23 - $30.87 per hour
