Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract An excellent opportunity awaits a Registered Behavior Technician dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of adolescents. A part-time, contract role is available supporting an adolescent client in a 1:1 school-based setting near Athens, GA. With a commitment of 15 to 20 hours per week, you will work closely with a supportive team, including regular supervision from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Qualified applicants will bring:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification Experience working with teens or adults exhibiting severe behaviors or aggression Strong commitment to client safety and well-being Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Professionalism, reliability, and compassion In this role, responsibilities will include: Providing consistent 1:1 ABA support to an adolescent client in the school environment Employing evidence-based strategies to manage and respond to severe behaviors and aggression Collecting and recording accurate behavioral data Implementing personalized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance Utilizing provided protective gear as needed to maintain safety Collaborating with school staff and the supervising BCBA to adapt and optimize interventions This position offers the chance to use your skills to make a meaningful difference, with personalized supervision, all necessary protective gear provided, and the support of a collaborative professional team.
