Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract An exciting part-time opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support an adolescent client in a school-based setting near Athens, GA. This contract role is ideal for professionals dedicated to making a meaningful difference, especially those with specialized experience managing severe behaviors or aggression with teens or adults. As an RBT in this position, you'll work 15 to 20 hours per week, focusing 1:1 with your assigned client. You'll be instrumental in implementing behavior intervention plans, ensuring safety, and fostering growth in a supportive environment. Working under the close guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you'll receive comprehensive supervision and professional collaboration.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification Previous experience supporting teens or adults who exhibit severe behaviors or aggression Confidence in utilizing positive behavior support strategies Commitment to client safety and well-being; ability to de-escalate challenging situations Professionalism and adaptability in school or community-based environments
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct 1:1 behavioral interventions for an adolescent client Implement data collection and prescribed treatment plans under BCBA supervision Consistently utilize protective gear provided for your safety and client support Communicate regularly with school staff and caregivers, offering insights on client progress Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with established protocols This position offers a specialized, rewarding environment where your expertise is highly valued.
