Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Now is your opportunity to make a meaningful difference supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician in the areas surrounding Dalton and La Fayette, GA. This contract role provides a chance to utilize your RBT expertise in a supportive educational environment, working alongside talented professionals dedicated to fostering positive student outcomes. As a valued member of the school community, you will:
Your Qualifications:
Hold active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification Experience working with children and/or adolescents, ideally within school settings Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, families, and team members Compassionate approach to supporting students with diverse needs Ability to maintain detailed documentation and follow established behavior intervention plans
What You'll Do:
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) Track student behaviors and collect data to help evaluate progress Collaborate closely with educators and school staff to generalize behavioral interventions across settings Provide direct, one-on-one or small group support to students as outlined in their behavior plans Maintain accurate and timely behavioral documentation and progress notes Foster a safe, respectful, and nurturing learning environment
