Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Experience a rewarding contract opportunity working as a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician in a supportive middle school environment. You'll make a meaningful impact on students' daily lives while collaborating closely with teachers and other support staff. In this full-time position, you'll provide essential 1:1 and small group behavioral interventions, helping students succeed academically and socially. The assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through May 22, offering you a chance to develop valuable relationships and skills over the remainder of the school year.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Experience in school-based settings, preferably within middle school classrooms Strong understanding of ABA principles and behavior intervention Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with students, colleagues, and families Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and document progress accurately Aptitude for working both independently and within a collaborative team atmosphere
Responsibilities:
Deliver 1:1 behavioral support to students, implementing Individualized Education Plans under the guidance of supervising BCBA or school staff Support small group instruction, ensuring all students receive attention and encouragement Collect data and observations, tracking student progress to tailor support Collaborate with teachers and fellow support staff to adapt strategies for student success Maintain professionalism and confidentiality within the classroom and broader school community This role places you at the heart of student progress, surrounded by professionals who value partnership and creativity.
