Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities to implement behavior support plans and provide assistance in achieving their goals.
Duties:
  • Collect and record data on client behaviors using established protocols
  • Implement behavior management strategies as outlined in the individual's behavior support plan
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions
  • Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in various settings (e.g., home, school, community)
  • Monitor and document progress towards goals and objectives
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Follow medical terminology and communicate effectively with team members
Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
  • Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
  • Ability to inhale, analyze, and interpret data related to behavior interventions
  • Familiarity with medical documentation and care plans
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
