Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as a full-time Registered Behavior Technician supporting students in a dynamic middle school environment. This contract position begins as soon as possible and continues through May 22, offering the chance to make a meaningful difference each day. In this role, you'll work closely with students in a classroom setting, providing 1:1 and group behavioral support aimed at promoting positive academic and social outcomes. Collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals, including other support staff, to create an inclusive and structured learning atmosphere where every student can thrive.
Qualifications and Desired Skills:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a classroom or educational setting Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and interventions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting Professionalism, adaptability, and a commitment to student success
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver 1:1 and group behavioral interventions to students during the school day Collect and document data on student progress and behavior Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and behavioral specialists Support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) Foster a positive, engaging classroom environment that supports academic and social growth Adapt strategies and interventions to meet the diverse needs of students This position provides an excellent opportunity to expand your experience in a school-based setting while working alongside passionate educators and support professionals.
