Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this vital role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles to promote skill development and reduce problematic behaviors. Collect accurate data on client progress during therapy sessions to inform ongoing treatment adjustments. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and other self-care routines. Support teaching sessions focused on communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors tailored to each client's needs. Maintain detailed and confidential medical records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with team members, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions. Participate in ongoing training related to behavioral health, behavior management techniques, and medical terminology to enhance your professional growth. Skills Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Experience working with children or individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities. Excellent communication skills for teaching, explaining procedures, and collaborating with team members. Ability to collect, record, and analyze data accurately for progress tracking. Compassionate patient care approach with a focus on positive reinforcement strategies. Knowledge of medical documentation standards, HIPAA compliance, and medical terminology relevant to behavioral health settings. Demonstrated ability to follow care plans precisely while adapting to individual client needs.
