Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality behavioral therapy to children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. In this energetic position, you will implement individualized treatment plans, assist with daily living activities, and support clients in achieving meaningful progress. Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors. Collect and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting, fostering independence. Support teaching sessions designed to improve communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors tailored to each individual's needs. Maintain accurate medical documentation, behavioral records, and care plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. Collaborate closely with supervisors, therapists, families, and educators to ensure cohesive care delivery and consistent behavior management strategies. Uphold patient care standards by creating a safe, supportive environment that encourages positive engagement and growth. Requirements Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred. Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and special education methodologies. Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior intervention strategies effectively. Strong data collection skills to track progress accurately and contribute to treatment planning. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards such as HIPAA compliance. Excellent teaching skills combined with patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with individuals with autism or behavioral health needs. Must be able to work well both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to client success. $25.00 - $31.00 per hour
