Job Description

A New Hope, LLC is hiring Behavioral Intervention Technicians to work with children and young adults with developmental disabilities in home and community-based settings. This position focuses on helping participants build communication, social, behavioral, and independent living skills through one-on-one support and structured interventions. Sessions may take place in homes, community settings, or other environments based on participant needs. This role requires patience, consistency, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while following individualized treatment plans. Responsibilities Implement behavioral intervention and skill-building plans Work directly with participants ages 3-21 Support participants in home and community settings Maintain accurate session notes and documentation Communicate professionally with families, supervisors, and team members Prioritize participant safety and engagement during sessions Qualifications Hold, or be within 24 credits of graduating with a Bachelor's degree in a human services field required (psychology, sociology, education, social work, etc.) Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current insurance required Basic technology and documentation skills required Ability to adapt to different environments and situations RBT training required (training available through A New Hope) Must successfully pass a criminal background check in accordance with Idaho state requirements Compensation & Benefits $19.00 to $21.00/hour Mileage reimbursement between sessions CPR/First Aid and RBT training available through A New Hope Health, dental, and life insurance available for eligible full-time employees
