Job Description

Responsibilities of the
ABA Therapist:
  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • RBT must collect data on client progress and behavior
  • With the help of the BCBA, the BT will assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
  • ABA Therapist will provide direct one-on-one therapy to clients
  • Teach and reinforce appropriate social, communication, and daily living skills
  • Assist with community outings and activities
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistency in treatment approach
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred
  • Previous experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities preferred
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and implement strategies effectively
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Skills:
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
  • Ability to effectively manage challenging behaviors using positive reinforcement strategies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
  • Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
