We service only 6 families each year! We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team! The ideal candidate will work closely with individuals with developmental disabilities and other behavioral health challenges, implementing treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care and support, ensuring that all interactions are conducted in accordance with HIPAA regulations and best practices in behavioral therapy.
Duties Direct Therapy Implementation:
Follows behavior reduction and skill acquisition protocols to help clients improve daily functioning and independence.
Data Collection:
Records behavioral data in real-time during sessions to track progress towards goals, often using electronic systems.
Skill Acquisition Assistance:
Uses techniques like Discrete Trial Training (DTT) or Natural Environment Training (NET) to teach skills such as communication, social interaction, and self-care.
Behavior Reduction Support:
Implements behavioral management plans to address maladaptive behaviors, including utilizing de-escalation strategies.
Supervision and Training:
Operates under the close supervision of a BCBA, completing at least 5% of their monthly hours in supervision.
Family Collaboration:
Assists in educating parents and caregivers on implementing behavioral strategies Skills Patience and empathy for working with individuals with developmental challenges. Must be able to clearly communicate with supervisors and family members. Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Experience in behavioral therapy and working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating empathy and patience. Requirements RBT Certification Must pass background screening Must be able to lift, bend, stand and squat If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with behavioral challenges, we encourage you to apply for this fulfilling position as a Registered Behavior Technician.
