Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician! This contract opportunity offers the chance to inspire growth and positive change in a welcoming educational environment near Chicago, IL. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to provide compassionate behavioral support to students, helping them reach academic and personal milestones.
Preferred Qualifications:
Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification Experience working in school settings or with children/adolescents on the autism spectrum Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles Effective communication and teamwork skills Ability to collect and accurately document data Patience, empathy, and a commitment to fostering student success
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver one-on-one and group ABA interventions to students following individualized behavior support plans Collect and record data on students' progress and behaviors Work under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), implementing treatment plans as directed Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support individual student needs Contribute to team meetings and discussions aimed at developing effective behavioral strategies Foster an inclusive, positive, and encouraging learning atmosphere In this position, you'll be more than just a technician—you'll be a positive force in students' lives, motivating them to overcome challenges and celebrating their progress every step of the way.
