Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students by providing expert behavioral analysis within a dynamic school setting. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you'll bring valuable insights and proven strategies to help support students, collaborate with faculty, and foster a positive learning environment. This contract position is based near Elgin, IL, and offers an excellent opportunity for professionals passionate about student success.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current BCBA certification in good standing Previous experience working in school settings is strongly preferred Strong ability to develop, assess, and implement behavior intervention plans Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, staff, and families Capable of collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team Proficient in data collection, analysis, and report writing Commitment to ethical and evidence-based practices
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct behavioral assessments and functional analyses for students Develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) focusing on behavioral goals Train and support educators and paraprofessionals in implementing behavioral strategies Collect and interpret data to adjust interventions as needed Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure a cohesive approach to student support Provide direct intervention and consultation as appropriate within the school environment Maintain thorough documentation and stay current on best practices in behavioral analysis This contract assignment offers flexibility and the chance to enhance your professional expertise while positively impacting students' lives.
