Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) •After-School & Summer Hours• Shields Behavioral Health Services LLC Naperville, IL Job Details Part-time $23 - $25 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications RBT Certification Working with individuals with developmental disabilities Observational assessments for behavioral monitoring Assisting with ADLs High school diploma or GED Records management Patient hygiene assistance Full Job Description Job Summary We are a BCBA owned and operated in-home ABA provider who prioritizes quality of services above all else. We are looking for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to conduct sessions during after-school hours and/or weekends. We desire candidates who are as passionate as we are about serving children with autism. Being a small provider allows us to provide substantial mentoring and training to help expand and fine-tune your ABA knowledge. •We strongly encourage RBTs looking to complete practicum hours to apply; we take pride in helping shape the BCBAs of tomorrow.• Duties Attend scheduled sessions consistently Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions to promote social, communication, and daily living skills. Assist children with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and hygiene routines, fostering independence and confidence. Collect and record accurate data on behavior patterns and skill acquisition via an electronic data collection system. Collaborate with BCBA during overlaps to ensure High-quality services are consistently provided. Create a positive, fun, and engaging environment that encourages learning through teaching strategies tailored to each child's needs. Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations by safeguarding medical records, documentation, and sensitive information related to clients' health and progress. Communicate effectively with families, team members, and other caregivers to ensure consistency in behavioral management strategies across settings. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. Reliable transportation for getting to clients' location and valid driver's license. Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Prior experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental disabilities. Ability to receive and implement feedback during sessions. Experience assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and implementing behavior management strategies. Ability to collect data systematically and utilize it to adapt interventions effectively. Compassionate attitude with excellent teaching skills and patience when working with children who have unique needs. Ability to maintain professional boundaries during stressful situations.
