Job Description

Job Overview:
As a Behavior Analyst at Glenkirk, you will play a key role in assessing, analyzing, and implementing behavior intervention plans for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Utilizing your expertise in applied behavior analysis (ABA), you will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance the quality of life for clients. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of behavioral principles, and a commitment to promoting positive behavior change.
Key Responsibilities:
Assessments of Functional Living Skills (AFLS): Conduct thorough FBAs to identify the function of challenging behaviors. Analyze and interpret assessment data to inform the development of effective behavior intervention plans. Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs): Develop and implement individualized BIPs based on assessment findings. Collaborate with clients, families, and support teams to ensure the successful implementation of behavior support strategies.
Data Collection and Analysis:
Establish and maintain systematic data collection procedures to monitor behavior change. Analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans and make data-driven adjustments as needed.
Training and Consultation:
Provide training to caregivers, support staff, and other relevant stakeholders on behavior management techniques. Offer consultation to interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistent and effective implementation of behavior support plans.
Progress Reporting:
Prepare and deliver progress reports to clients, families, and relevant agencies. Collaborate with case managers and other professionals to communicate outcomes and adjust intervention plans as necessary. Stay Current with
Research:
Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis. Attend relevant conferences, workshops, and training sessions to continually enhance knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required. Level 2 accepted. Previous experience in conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
