Job Description
GBC Autism Services is seeking an experienced, dedicated Lead Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in a hybrid role that combines Lead Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) responsibilities with Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) direct support.
Position Type :
Hourly, non-exempt Pay range: $20-26 an hour plus Signing Bonus!Schedule Requirements:
Daytime Availability M-F Maximum number of hours for LRBT work per week is 16 to start Additional hours will consist of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) work The Lead RBT will be responsible for providing quality direct therapy services to patients while supporting the clinical department with administrative tasks. This position serves as a leadership role amongst peers and supports BCBA staff as they provide services to patients.Job Responsibilities:
Working closely with the BCBA to implement individualized programs for each child Filling in direct therapy hours for teams that have cancellations Creating learning materials for teams Organizing and cleaning clinic spaces Support generalization of programming by overlapping with sessions in a clinic Assists BCBAs with assessments for new patients Assists BCBAs with training for new BTs starting on new patient teams Provides mentoring to new hire technicians Provides additional days of training support to current technicians joining new teams or new hire staff members Delivers feedback to technicians trained in clear, concise and respectfully stated manner Assists a BCBA with additional training if a technician is struggling with a patient or concept in ABA Conducts material inventories within clinic spaces Prepares assessment kits for BCBAs Performing data analysis and helps BCBAs make data-based decisions for skill acquisition and behavior-reduction programs Communicate effectively with your BCBA supervisor. Reliable to follow a weekly schedule for each assigned patient. Assists BCBAs in running parent training targets during specified sessions What We're Looking For High School Diploma or GED Have an active RBT certification that is in good standing with the BACB Creativity and flexibility Reliable transportation Related experience Ability to be active (lifting up to 50 lbs, running, crouching, playing) Comfort with assisting children with hygiene & toilet training Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Exceptional organizational skills Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook Why You'll Love Working Here BCBA owned and operated Career development & growth opportunities Fun team events & traditions Ongoing training & support Pay raises every 6 months Employee rewards program Referral bonuses Discounted tuition at partnered collegesGBC Autism Services:
