In this vital role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Your energy, compassion, and commitment will help foster growth, independence, and improved quality of life for those you serve. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in behavioral health and applied behavior analysis (ABA) while providing essential support to families and caregivers. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to promote positive behaviors and skill development. Collect accurate data on client progress, behaviors, and responses during therapy sessions to inform ongoing treatment adjustments. Maintain confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations and ensuring all medical records and documentation are accurate, complete, and secure. Foster a safe, supportive environment that encourages growth, patience, and positive reinforcement during therapy sessions. Requirements Must be a licensed Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Hold an associate's or bachelor's degree in psychology, education, child development, or a related field Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, working with children or individuals with disabilities is preferred. Have reliable transportation and ability to travel between client homes Be able to lift at least 30 lbs and move between sitting, standing, crouching, kneeling, running, and crawling with a client Have strong organizational, time management and communication skills Ability to assist with ADLs and implement teaching strategies aligned with special education principles. Demonstrated patience, compassion, and a genuine desire to support individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental challenges. Must be able to adhere to all safety protocols and confidentiality standards related to healthcare practices. Pass a background check
