Job Description

Sign on bonus for BCBA's $3000 (First half issued after 90 days and final payment after 6 months of service)
Responsibilities:
Provides and implements Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy principles for the creation of students' therapeutic and educational goals in a therapeutic day school setting. Provides ABA training, assistance with lesson planning to special education teachers (LBS1) in classrooms for the purposes of maladaptive behavioral de-escalation, building prosocial skillsets and general adherence/tolerance of classroom expectations. Teaches, models and directly implements evidence-based ABA strategies for classroom behavioral management on an ongoing basis. Conducts, communicates and coordinates Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and presents such along with relevant data in students' multidisciplinary team meetings in accordance with students' Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Monitors fidelity and accuracy of BIPs and updates changes in plans when necessary. Monitors student progress and adapts behavioral and academic programming accordingly. Communicates and collaborates with teachers, related services providers and administrators as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team. Maintains organized documentation in individual student files. Analyzes data on an ongoing and on-demand basis Attends and reports behavioral data in all pertinent meetings such as IEPs, parent/teacher conferences or consultation meetings with ancillary care providers. Supervises Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) as needed. Skills/Qualifications:
Previous experience preferred; good communication skills, fluent and clear strong organizational abilities, and a high degree of professionalism.
Education:
Masters Degree/Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) Federal background check clearance Ambulatory/physical abilities to manage students when necessary Free of Drugs and Alcohol Friendly disposition and collaborative approach Hearing and vision within the normal limits

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM (37.5 hours/week)

4-day work weeks (Fridays OFF!)
Generous Breaks:
Two 2-week summer breaks, plus full weeks for Spring, Thanksgiving, and Winter breaks. All major holidays are off.
