This position will include both direct and indirect responsibilities including assisting BCBAs in development of materials and protocols. This position is an hourly position with potential to turn into a salaried position. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based behavioral therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Your expertise will help foster meaningful progress in clients' communication, social skills, and daily living activities. As a senior member of the team, you will also mentor junior staff, assist in developing individualized care plans, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact while working in a supportive and growth-oriented environment. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors. Collect, record, and analyze data related to client behaviors and progress to inform treatment adjustments. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, toileting, and other self-care tasks. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update personalized care plans aligned with each client's goals. Support clients during therapy sessions by teaching new skills through evidence-based teaching strategies and behavioral management techniques. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, behavior logs, and treatment records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide compassionate patient care while ensuring safety and adherence to all medical terminology standards and confidentiality protocols. Mentor junior staff by providing guidance on best practices in behavioral therapy, data collection methods, and behavior management strategies. Skills Extensive knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles rooted in applied behavior analysis (ABA). Proven experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Strong ability to assist with ADLs and support clients' independence in daily routines. Excellent data collection skills for tracking client progress accurately and efficiently. Familiarity with medical documentation standards, HIPAA compliance, medical terminology, and maintaining detailed medical records. Effective teaching skills combined with patience and empathy to support diverse learning needs. Ability to manage behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies. Knowledge of special education practices and behavioral health concepts relevant to the role of a senior RBT. Join us in making a difference!
