Job Description
Job Overview Kids Play Gym, a sensory-friendly inclusive play facility in Bloomington, IN, is now seeking a full time BCBA ( Board Certified Behavior Analyst) LBA. This is a unique position for the right candidate. We are locally owned and operated, and our space was built by the owners with the help of their family and friends. We are a play based program that focuses on school readiness. Our clients are between the ages of 2 and 10. We have a great team, and a lot of fun working together. a passionate BCBA who is interested in growing with a company Must have a LBA in Behavior Analysis experienced with various assessment tools, including
VBMAPP, ABLLS, AFLS, VABS-3
etc. experienced designing treatment plans and recommendations based on results of the initial assessment experienced in designing behavior intervention plans based on the results from an FBA? able to interpret data and summarize progress every 6 months or as needed experienced training new behavior therapists and family members regarding client treatment plan willing to learn electronic data collection system strong in written and oral communication skills Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify individual needs and goals. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles. Provide direct behavioral therapy to clients, ensuring the use of evidence-based practices. Monitor client progress through data collection and analysis, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to support client development and well-being. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Educate clients and families on behavioral strategies and interventions to promote positive outcomes. Stay updated on current research and best practices in the field of behavioral health. Qualifications Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required. Licensure is required Already enrolled in Medicaid a plus Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to behavioral health. Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and data collection methods. Knowledge of behavioral therapy principles and applied behavior analysis methodologies. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of behavior analysis.
