We provide individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs as part of a multidisciplinary approach that includes Occupational Therapy, Music Therapy, and diagnostic services. POSITION OVERVIEW
The Behavior Technician (RBT) provides 1:1 ABA therapy to individuals diagnosed with Autism in a center-based setting under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role focuses on skill development, behavior support, and meaningful engagement using evidence-based ABA practices.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy under BCBA supervision
- Implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based ABA techniques
- Support development of communication, self-help, social, and play skills
- Capture learner motivation by tailoring activities to individual interests
- Respond to challenging behaviors in accordance with the Plan of Care (POC) using SafetyCare and ABA strategies
- Collect accurate data and complete clinical documentation in compliance with privacy standards
- Communicate effectively with BCBAs regarding observations and progress
- Prepare therapy materials for sessions
- Collaborate with clinical leadership and team members
- Assist with initiatives outside the clinical role as needed
- Participate in community outreach and growth initiatives when requested
- Support toilet training and diaper changing as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
POPULATION SERVED
Individuals diagnosed with Autism, ages 18 months through pre-teen.
QUALIFICATIONS
- RBT certification or willingness to complete required training (We assist with this process)
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum age: 19 years
- Strong passion for helping others
- Desire to learn and grow in the field of ABA
- Ability to complete online coursework alongside in-person training
- Commitment to professionalism, consistency, and long-term growth
- Physical ability to lift, run, crouch, squat, kneel, and engage in active play
- Energetic, playful, and engaging demeanor
- Degree-seeking candidates preferred
