Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician Lead to join our team and drive excellence in behavioral health and developmental support services. This pivotal role involves leading a team dedicated to providing high-quality care and education to individuals with developmental disabilities, including those with autism. As a RBT Lead, you will be instrumental in implementing evidence-based interventions, managing care plans, and fostering a positive environment that promotes growth, independence, and well-being. Your energetic leadership will inspire your team to deliver personalized support while ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and privacy regulations. Duties Lead and supervise a team of behavioral therapists, educators, and support staff to deliver tailored interventions aligned with each individual's needs. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans that incorporate applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral management strategies, and special education techniques. Conduct comprehensive data collection on client progress, behavior patterns, and treatment outcomes to inform ongoing care adjustments. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), promoting independence while ensuring safety and comfort. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to coordinate services, share progress updates, and refine intervention strategies. Maintain accurate medical documentation, records, and reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards. Provide training and mentorship to team members on behavioral therapy techniques, medical documentation practices, and patient care protocols. Experience Proven experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Strong background in behavioral therapy techniques such as applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavior management strategies. Demonstrated ability to assist clients with ADLs in a compassionate manner that encourages independence. Experience in special education settings or teaching roles related to behavioral health or developmental support. Familiarity with medical records management, HIPAA compliance, medical terminology, and care plan development. Ability to collect, analyze, and utilize data effectively to track client progress and inform treatment decisions. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, families, and caregivers.
