This role provides 1:1 support for him as an adult, helping him maintain structure, build independence, and navigate daily life. Position Summary:
Applied Behavior Center for Autism is seeking a compassionate and reliable Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide 1:1 in-home support for an adult with autism. This position is based in a private home setting in Fisher, IN. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting an individual in developing independence, daily living skills, and overall quality of life in a structured and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct 1:1 care in a home setting Implement individualized behavior support plans under the direction of a BCBA Support daily living activities and routines Collect and record data on behaviors and progress Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment Assist with de-escalation and behavior management as needed Communicate effectively with the clinical team and family
Qualifications:
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred , but not required Experience working with teens or adults with autism strongly preferred Experience with behavior management and de-escalation techniques Ability to remain calm, patient, and consistent Strong communication and documentation skills Reliable transportation
